I am a detail obsessed, trustworthy, full-service bookkeeper who loves technology, and offers streamlined, no-hassle QuickBooks training and bookkeeping services. I obsess about the details so you can focus on where you’re needed the most – running and growing your business. I am also a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
When I’m not helping people solve their bookkeeping needs, you’ll find me volunteering at one of my children’s schools, enjoying copious amounts of espresso, or constructing an Eiffel Tower out of cardboard boxes (I’m a total Pinterest junkie). I also enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter who is 7, son who is 5 – and our newest addition, a rescue pup named Teddy.
A lifelong Washingtonian, I received an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Russian language at Western Washington University. After graduating I went on to work for The Boeing Company and RealNetworks. Drawn to entrepreneurship, I then founded and ran a boutique wedding stationery design company. That’s where I learned how hard it is to try and fill so many roles as a small business owner, constantly feeling stretched too thin. I also learned the value of the balance sheet and income statement and how important it is to keep financial data up to date and accurate to provide an instant overview of business health. Many small businesses fail because they don’t understand the financial health of their business. All of these experiences have lead me to the founding of Better Your Books, LLC.
